Upcoming in our school...

Thank you to all the parents for making time for an interview. Please continue to be in contact if you have any questions or concerns. Our school will be collecting donations for the Richmond Food Bank, as well as Shepherds of Good Hope. We will are hoping to fill a box for each organization in our classroom. If you are able to donate, we are collecting non-perishable food items for the food bank and any of the items listed below for Shepherds of Good Hope.

• shampoo 
• towels
• razors
• shaving cream

Please remember that students are not required to bring in items, please only donate what is possible. Also, the dollar store is an excellent place to find many of these items!

A reminder that the book fair starts on Wednesday November 28 and we will be visiting as a class on that day.  If any students want to 'window shop' the first day, there is another time for them to go quickly on Friday as well, but popular items do sell out fast!

Just a quick note to remind parents that interviews for my class will be held Wednesday November 14, not Thursday November 8.  If there was any confusion regarding this, or schedule problems, please let me know. Student portfolios, including their math quiz and latest writing samples will be sent home on Friday November 9.  I will be contacting parents next week to set up a classroom volunteer schedule, thank you in advance for your time.
